Shane Guse is an award-winning fiddler, multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, and educator whose career spans touring, studio recording, and teaching at the highest levels of Canadian music. Based in Waterloo, Ontario, Shane is a seven-time Canadian Country Music Association award recipient and a proud inductee into the CCMA Musicians Hall of Honour. A founding member of The Western Swing Authority, he has brought the timeless sounds of western swing to stages across North America, earning international acclaim for the band's artistry and authenticity. Beyond performance, Shane is a respected session musician whose fiddle, mandolin, and vocal work can be heard on countless award-winning recordings. He shares his expertise as a faculty member at Wilfrid Laurier University, where he teaches fiddle, mandolin, and improvisation, mentoring the next generation of musicians. Whether performing live, recording in studio, or inspiring students in the classroom, Shane Guse continues to shape Canadian music with passion and precision.
