The Joel Dupuis Band is a dynamic three-piece blues-rock outfit from Southern Ontario, led by powerhouse guitarist, singer, and songwriter Joel Dupuis. At just 22 years old, Dupuis has already made a significant impact on the regional music scene, earning recognition as London Blues Band of the Year and Guitar Player of the Year in 2024. Backed by the tight rhythm section of Glenn Kitchen on drums and Mark Shickluna on bass, the band delivers a high-energy blend of classic blues, southern rock influence, and raw, soulful original material that hits hard with no filler. Their music features fiery guitar work, expressive vocals, and driving grooves that showcase both technical skill and emotional depth. In 2025, the trio released their debut full-length album Very Best Fool along with an accompanying EP, featuring tracks such as “Borrowed Time,” “Mind Games,” “Very Best Fool,” and “Wake Up.” Known for their energetic live performances at festivals and clubs across Southern Ontario, The Joel Dupuis Band brings youthful fire and authentic blues spirit to every stage, quickly establishing themselves as one of the most exciting young blues acts to watch in Canada.
